About Us

Welcome to the Sunnyvale Art Gallery blog. We decided to create this blog to reach out to the community on a daily basis with news, upcoming shows, highlights on our regular customers and much more!

We are a family run art gallery in the heart of Silicon Valley. This 10,000 square feet building used to be a grocery store in the 50's, a car dealership, a furniture store for many decades and now the first art gallery in Sunnyvale!

We opened our doors in 2009 and since have met many artists and have received a great amount of support from the public. In 2010, Kimm's Flower Basket which used to be next door merged into the same building. So now we are a flower shop, cafe, art supply store and art gallery. Crazy huh? At times we think so too, but that is what makes our business so unique and special.

What goes on at the Sunnyvale Art Gallery?
  • Monthly rotating exhibitions
Solo or Group show, we have about 100 paintings up on display. From watercolors, oil painting and  digital photography we have something for everyone!
  • Open mic
A night of music, comedy, poetry, singing and more! We welcome you to join us the 1st & 3rd Thursday of every month to enjoy watching locals or to come and perform.
  • Meeting spot
We serve as a great location for groups for business marketing, network meetups, art clubs and recently a quilters group!
  • Art Classes
Tuesday's are our live portrait drawing session. Bring your sketchpads, paints and oils!  We also have art classes for beginners and intermediate individuals.

Our mission is to help cultivate and promote the art culture here in the South Bay.

Our gallery features local artists and all the artwork are originals! Constantly evolving, we are an art gallery, cafe, art supply and flower shop. We are constantly looking for ways to make our gallery better! Our cafe is spacious and a quiet place for studying or group work. Our art supply store carries most professional grade and industry related art supplies. Our flower shop has been serving the community for over 25 years.

We welcome suggestions and any feedback! Please drop by or email us at sunnyvaleartgallery@gmail.com
